Also known as "How I spent $40"

Right, so this is the figure of Miyuki Takara from Lucky Star that I had ordered. All in all, it's a fairly good figure. She's nicely-made and everything. It goes without saying that she resembles her look in the cartoon, and that's definitely a good thing with how cute she is.

One of the things I will note about the figure is that changing the faceplates around is a bit tricky. On the figure I have, the default one slides in and out normally, but the alternate one is a bit tricky to attach/detach, since it seems to clamp on a bit tighter. That's really a minor problem, though.

Pardon my desk, it's got a bit of clutter from who-knows-what, including various things of Pokemon cards, a Kraft Dinner box I kept because it had Pokemon on it, etc. The main focus is on the figure itself, hopefully!

$40? That's pretty lucky.

I think the actual total price was $46 or so, but the figure itself was a little less than $40, so it all worked out.

As far as I can tell, everything checks out.

So you did a inspection of the box to see if it matches up with pics of the official stuff?

Yep. As I said before, everything seems to check out.

Okay. Just making sure. I got really close to getting burned on a Nendoroid Konata (from Sears, no less) and I don't want my friends to get screwed over with a cheap knockoff, either.
